Position Summary
The USA Produce Construction Manager is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and management of construction projects. Accountable for scheduling, coordinating, and supervising construction project activities to ensure quality and adherence to scheduled progress. Other primary responsibilities include adherence to safety standards, leadership, and cost control.

Primary Accountabilities (Essential Duties)
Manage all facets of day-to-day operations for construction projects. Oversee all scheduling, crew assignment, construction field activity, and job inspection activities in accordance with established policies, procedures, and objectives for assigned employees.

Assume responsibility for interpreting job specifications and maintain drawing/specification updates.

Assist Project Manager with Master Schedule setup. Assign crew members to specific job assignments. Maintain updates and delays as needed. Ensure construction lead times are met.

Supervise, manage, and train assigned employees. Measure and keep track of production output and quality levels.

Conduct inspections of crew performance and completed jobs. Assure compliance of building codes and safety requirements.

Ensure all tools are well maintained and safe for use by employees on site.

Report job-related injuries right away.

Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and organized.

Complete reviews of assigned employees in a timely manner.

Counsel employees and initiate discipline when necessary.


Secondary Accountabilities
Maintain professional relationships with all employees, contractors, and subcontractors.

Communicate with suppliers to collect outstanding payments and resolve any invoicing issues.

Contribute to team effort by completing other duties as needed.

In addition to the accountabilities listed above, individuals may perform other duties as assigned, including work in other functional areas to cover absences or relief, to equalize peak work periods or otherwise to balance the workload.


Supervisory Responsibilities: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Degree: Bachelor's Degree Major: Engineering or Related Field
