Chantecler a popular variety in France. These apples store well. The apples from the photo are harvested a year ago.

Groupe Rouquette is using a new wax to protect the apple and to give it a shiny look.

First the apples go in warmer water so the wax will stick easier to the apple.

Apples are selected by weight and size. Every row is a different weight and size.
