The Australian grape season is still way off, the fruit set should happen next week and if it stays dry it should be a good season. Jeff Scott CEO of Australian Table Grapes said they are anticipating the opening of the US market to Australian grapes very soon.

Brian Ceressa and John Cicchini from Perfection Fresh Global. The company has exclusive marketing rights for the Calypso mango in Australia as well several other countries, they are also the biggest growers and packers of SunWorld grape varieties in Australia.

Ried Fruit grows cherries in Tasmania, last season direct flights out Hobart to Hong Kong meant the company could export most their cherries. This season the mainland crop is running late which will mean an overlap, but there has been no big rains and the crop is looking good. Tim Reid, Tony Coad, Nick Featherstone and Charles Thorne were on the stand.

UK company G's Fresh was at the show promoting the well known Love Beets, in addition they are also looking to add other products such as salads to their exports to the Asian retail market. Sarah Huntley and Graham Forber were on the stand.
