R&M Forwarding completes first phase of major refrigeration project

At R&M Forwarding, the first phase of a large-scale refrigeration project was recently completed. With the completion of this phase, the company has taken an important step in expanding its logistics capacity and making its facilities more sustainable.

The new refrigerated complex provides space for up to 24,000 pallets, divided into 54 rooms equipped with mobile and pushback racks and eight ripening rooms.

In addition, the building features a refrigerated packing and compressing mezzanine floor of 18,000 m².

The entire building covers a total (ground) floor area of 40,000 m². Central to the sustainable design is an ammonia/CO₂ plant, which contributes to an energy-efficient and environmentally friendly refrigeration solution.

With this development, R&M Forwarding strengthens its position as an innovative player in the logistics sector, ready for the future of cold storage and distribution.
