Azerbaijan sees significant growth in fruit exports in January 2025

In the first month of 2025, Azerbaijan recorded a significant increase in fruit exports to international markets.

According to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Agriculture, the country exported 43,261 tons of various fruit products in January, totaling $44.7 million in value. Compared to the same period last year, the export volume increased by 23.5%, while the total value rose by 22.8%.

The most exported fruits included dates, apples, pears, quinces, pomegranates, and citrus fruits. Officials attribute this growth to the expansion of intensive orchards and the maturing of fruit trees planted in previous years.
