UNICA will exhibit its fresh, IV, and V range products

Everything is ready for a new edition of Fruit Logistica where UNICA will showcase all its new products. The cooperative has fully adopted the V range into its catalog since the arrival of Alicante-based Surinver.

Its most outstanding products among its up to a hundred references include escalivada, grated natural tomatoed, caramelized peppers, tomatoes, and onions, roasted pepper salads, artichokes, and quinoa...

In the fresh cut range, UNICA continues to expand 'The Chef in You' line with new and attractive washed and cut ready-to-cook products, such as the Tex-Mex fajitas kit with tri-color pepper strips, in addition to the existing ones with waved sweet potatoes or Zucchiolo (Innovation Award 2024). These options combine crunchy textures and natural flavor in this line designed to facilitate the day-to-day work of amateur cooks (supermarket customers) and professional chefs (Horeca channel). This line can have multiple cuts and formats, adapted to customers to meet the needs of the hotel, restaurant, and catering channel. Each product is carefully prepared to ensure freshness, quality, and significant time savings in the preparation of dishes, without losing flavor or nutritional value.

The company will also showcase other ready-to-eat pre-prepared convenience food options such as carrot sticks, Sweet Palermo pepper, snack cucumber, and cherry tomatoes, all under the concept of healthy snacking and with sauces for dipping. New in the range are sliced and washed apples. With these solutions, UNICA continues to break into the vending machine market.

UNICA will also showcase other products it markets, such as the Tatayoyo pepper -with which the company is extending its production calendar for 12 months-, and its seedless, Turkish, and hot pepper specialties. The company will also showcase its new Chiliworld brand, strengthening what is probably the largest range of hot peppers in the Spanish market.

UNICA, which has over 100 fresh products in its catalog, will present other new products such as its orange watermelon and Little Planet melon.

Visitors to the UNICA stand at Fruit Logistica (Hall 18, stand A20) can also learn about the progress that the company has made in its innovation complex, Unica Agribusiness Centre, the first phase of which was started in June 2024 and should be completed in August 2025. It will be a turning point for the agricultural sector in general, as it will allow external collaboration with other entities such as auxiliary companies, universities, seed companies, and customers, providing constant innovation and staying one step ahead in the market.

The centre under construction is an open, flexible, and sustainable workspace equipped with the latest technological solutions. It will house the necessary equipment for the development of new products and new marketing techniques that contribute to increasing the added value of the fruits and vegetables produced by the members of the second-degree cooperative.
