Kyrgyzstan's imports of fruits and nuts from China in 2024 exceeded $609.3 million, marking a 64% increase compared to 2023, according to data from China's General Administration of Customs.
In volume terms, imports rose by 72%, reaching 454,300 tons.
The top six imported fruits and nuts by value included:
- Mandarins: 161,300 tons worth $173.5 million
- Shelled walnuts: 24,700 tons worth $98 million
- Fresh grapes: 48,600 tons worth $56.4 million
- Pears: 42,800 tons worth $46.5 million
- Lemons and limes: 26,900 tons worth $35.7 million
- Apples: 26,600 tons worth $32.7 million
In 2024, Kyrgyzstan imported over 40 different types of fruits and nuts from China.
