A new Lome Super Fruit juice mix with pomegranate, strawberry and raspberry has just been launched on the market in the 200, 250 and 500 ml formats.
FreshPlaza has talked about it with Dario De Lisi, sales manager at Masseria Fruttirossi, a leading pomegranate producer boasting over 300 hectares.
"The first supplies will go to the Italian H&R sector, i.e. bars, beach resorts and other restaurant businesses. We are also proposing the product to the big retail chains where the other juices are already available, all of which cold-extracted and pasteurized.
The new mix is preservative, coloring and sugar-free and has the following composition: pomegranate 91%, strawberry 8% and raspberry 1%. "It was an idea to widen our juice range, as these fruits are the most popular with all ages. We wanted to privilege Italian productions, as strawberries come from Basilicata and raspberries come from specialized businesses in the north. The juice is rich in vitamins, mineral salts and natural antioxidants."
Masseria Fruttirossi reports that production and bottling will peak over the next few days before the arrival of summer and before the usual increase in orders.
