Dutch company places potato receiving line at Australian potato processor

In Australia, a potato processing company wanted to replace its potato receiving line and turned to the Dutch company Tolsma-Grisnich. They report that the line they placed buffs, cleans, and samples the potatoes brought in by trucks at high capacity.

"The system has two receiving bunkers, each with a 50-ton/hour capacity. Trucks tip the potatoes into those in a product-friendly manner," says a company spokesperson.

"Those are fed over the de-soiling unit and through a sampling device to a conveyor belt that pushes them up to the bunker block."

"These belts fill six bunkers with a total capacity of 300 tons. Finally, conveyor belts feed the potatoes from the bunkers to the washing units," the representative concludes.
