Spain might experience see record-breaking heat this April, as forecasters are predicting temperatures of up to 40C, beating the previous high of 37.4C. Spain's meteorological agency Aemet has predicted temperatures in the Guadalquivir valley, Andalusia in southern Spain, 'could event reach 40C' on Thursday or Friday.
Low rainfall and high temperatures have plagued the country for the last three years, with 2022 being the hottest on record.
