An operation to internationalize the Apulian company

A container of Lome Super Fruit juices has left for Canada

After the load in the early morning of yesterday (21 March 2023), a container filled with juices under the Lome Super Fruit brand departed from the Masseria Fruttirossi agribusiness plant, headed to the Canadian metropolitan city of Montréal.

As for the internationalization of the company, we spoke with Dario De Lisi, the sales manager of the Apulian company that produces juices from raw material derived from its own crops.

On completion of the container loading operations

"Soon 60 thousand bottles of long-life juices will be sold in Canadian supermarkets and stores. It takes about 30 days of shipping before the starting of distribution in the different outlets. The operation includes the posting of posters and the installation of counter displays to support sales and better promote the Italian product. If the Canadian market reacts in the right way, more volumes of juices will be exported, standing at 5 containers per year with the same US customer."

The three types of juices sent to Montréal

The formats shipped to Montréal are 250 and 500 ml, with 3 different flavors: 100% pomegranate juice (the company's best seller), the Linea mix with pomegranate, ginger and lemon, and Vitality, with pomegranate and clementines.

"We are in touch with other European and overseas importers in order to expand the consumption of our juices free of preservatives and added sugars and thus penetrate economically attractive markets. In recent months, we've opened trade negotiations not only with operators located on the European continent, but also with those in Australia and Japan. The incidence of transportation cost is still very high. Freight prices, although declining compared to 2022, are high, but experts let it be known that chartering costs should stabilize in the near future, thus benefiting a greater position in the arrival markets of exported products," concluded De Lisi.
