THE OPPORTUNITY
Planasa is a global leader in the agri-food sector, specializing in breeding the next generations of berry varieties: blueberries, raspberries, strawberries and blackberries. Established for over 40 years, they are now PE-backed and currently undergoing major transformation.
Due to releasing several new berry varieties into the market, they now require a Marketing Coordinator with a strong technical background to promote the products across Europe.
This is a role with a huge level of autonomy and impact across the business.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
As someone who will effectively establish product strategy across Europe, you will provide technical support as well as control of licensed nurseries and event management.
The position will be responsible for talking, technically with growers, managing the press, media and international events. They will work across several countries to include the Netherlands, Belgium, the UK, France and Germany but will be based in the Netherlands.
Travel across the mentioned countries on a regular basis is necessary, with the majority of time working at your home office. You will stay close to the nurseries, whilst liaising daily with the marketing department.

YOUR EXPERTISE
Minimum education/qualification/experience
- Graduate of Agricultural Engineering major or similar.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a commercial or marketing function.
- Technical knowledge of berries – beneficial
- Technical knowledge of fruits or vegetables essential
Leadership and behavioural
- Very good communication skills
- Having an international approach and being able to work with different cultures
- Working remotely at home whilst working as part of an international team.
Functional and technical
- Having a technical knowledge and understanding the products
- Being able to talk to the customers to explain the way the product is grown.
- Strong influencing abilities.
- The ability to see the bigger picture and connect the dots across all countries.
- Language skills with English, Dutch (essential) and French, German (beneficial).
