Next was a stop at Greenvale AP at Duns in Berwickshire. One of the biggest potato suppliers in the UK. The company has growers in the UK and overseas. With around 190 employees Greenvale packs around 1400 tonnes a weel for Tesco.

The last stop of the day was to Carroll's Heritage Potatoes, Tiptoe Farm, Northunberland, England. Run by Lucy and Anthony Carroll. Anthony tells delegates about the 17 different varieties of heritage potatoes grown on 60 hectares. The farm is LEAF accredited and have a Countryside Stewardship scheme on the farm. Tiptoe Farm has recently been recognised as a Special area of Conservation (SAC).
