Altländer Wellant is kicking off the new season with a revamped brand identity and the "Harvest Start Winner 2025" campaign. The initiative focuses on the start of the harvest season, accompanied by a new communication campaign that highlights the apple and its regional origin.
To kick things off, a new promotional film was released that highlights the high regard in which Wellant apples are held by consumers and producers alike. The campaign is also intended to ensure visibility beyond the fall, including through placements in food retail outlets.
The first "Harvest Start Winner 2025" is Oliver Blohm from Obsthof Blohm. Blohm is a fruit grower in the Francop district of Hamburg in the Altes Land region, where he and his family are now in their eighth generation of farming 20 hectares of land, mainly growing apples but also pears, prunes, and cherries.

Targeted marketing and strong distribution
In addition to the campaign, the website www.altlaender-wellant.de has also been revamped. It provides information about the cultivation, flavor, and sustainability of apples and is aimed at retailers and consumers alike.

From the autumn, communication will be supplemented by social media activities. The Hamburg agency Green Gurillas, which specializes in innovative and high-quality fruit and vegetable varieties, has been responsible for implementing the campaign since 1 September 2025. Distribution is handled by the producer organizations Elbe-Obst and MAL.
