Choshi melons thrive with sweet Amusu

In Choshi, Japan, situated in Chiba Prefecture, melon cultivation remains steady. The area is known for its diverse melon varieties, including the region's distinct "Amusu melon." The Amusu melon is noted for its pronounced sweetness and texture. According to a local farmer, "Once you taste it, you will be surprised by its sweetness and become a fan." The projected shipment volume for melons from Choshi, incorporating the Amusu variety, is approximately 820 metric tons.
