An orchard of 30 hectares of apricot trees to be planted in Bukovina

A new 30-hectare apricot orchard will be planted this year in the Dnistrovskyi district of Bukovina, Ukraine. The project is being implemented by LLC "Dnistrovi Sady," one of the largest and most modern fruit-growing enterprises in the region.

The company has been operating in Bukovina for 15 years and currently cultivates 338 hectares of agricultural land, including 240 hectares of orchards and 98 hectares for grains, oilseeds, and other crops. Of the orchard land, 180 hectares are planted with intensive apple varieties and 60 hectares with apricots. The saplings—varieties of apples and apricots—are imported from Italy and France.

"Dnistrovi Sady," in cooperation with neighboring enterprise "Greenline," also develops the joint trademark "BUKOVITA." Their fruits are supplied both to Ukrainian retail chains and exported to international markets. Apples and apricots grown here are sold in EU countries such as Sweden and Belgium, as well as in Middle Eastern markets including the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Oman.

The company shared the news about the new orchard on its official Facebook page. They also noted ongoing efforts to access state support and grant funding to expand and modernize their operations.
