Ukraine has suspended applications for orchard and greenhouse development grants under the eRobota program due to the exhaustion of allocated state budget funds, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food announced.
The ministry stated that all funds earmarked for the creation and expansion of fruit, berry, vineyard cultivation, and greenhouse infrastructure have been fully utilized. While the acceptance of new applications is currently paused, the ministry emphasized that all grants approved in 2025 will be fully financed by the end of the year.
"The development of orchards and greenhouse farming means thousands of new jobs, modern infrastructure in local communities, and strong agricultural producers across the country. It will result in the creation of over 4,000 hectares of new orchards and greenhouses, more than 2,000 permanent jobs, and nearly 40,000 seasonal jobs," said Ukraine's Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food.
Since the launch of the eRobota program, more than UAH 1.35 billion (approximately $34 million) in grants have been disbursed to 268 agricultural producers for orchard and greenhouse development. In 2025 alone, 38 agricultural enterprises have already received support totaling UAH 167.7 million (approximately $4.2 million).
