It's the end of September... That means that Uvasdoce Fresh is getting ready for the Fruit Attraction 2023 fair, one of the fruit and vegetable sector's most important fairs. For the past 15 years, Uvasdoce Fresh has presented at this fair in October all the news for New Year's Eve and its next campaign. The fair has become an essential and unique meeting spot to meet with colleagues in the sector, customers, and friends.
The campaign has had a very good start in terms of quality and demand. Export prices have been good. At the national level, however, despite the considerable increase in demand, it's been very difficult to maintain prices and achieve expectations. The company expected to exceed 5,000,000 kilos of its own production and have annual sales of nearly 10,000,000 kilos (including purchases from farmers in the Vinalopó area and the imports they make outside their campaign), thus achieving a turnover of more than 25 million.
Among its novelties, the Alicante-based entity has renewed the brand image of one of its main packaging lines: "Uvasdoce Premium". The company has been working with this premium brand, which brings together the best of their production, for more than 15 years. In addition, they continue to bet on their "Las chuches de Uvasdoce" brand working to create new formats that meet the needs of their customers.
The projects for this 2023-2024 campaign include the expansion of their farms and facilities to continue growing in a progressive and controlled manner.
They are working hard with their AM Fresh group on new varieties and plantations. This will allow them to open new doors, not only for customers but also for new varieties and cultivation techniques. Their predictions about the near future are very optimistic. According to them, there will be a great revolution in the world of grapes and, as part of the AM Fresh group, they'll be able to participate in it from the start.
