World’s largest potato masher to be installed at Plover food and farm center

The village of Plover is now home to the world’s largest potato masher. The staff and Board of Directors of the Food + Farm Exploration Center held a special ceremony for the installation of the World’s Largest Potato Masher at the nearly complete Food + Farm Exploration Center on Friday.

The almost 39-foot-tall, three-ton potato masher is expected to be a tourist attraction and is intended as a “selfie spot”. The site will be operated by the Farming for the Future Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded by the Pavelski family and incorporated in 2018. The family has operated a multi-generational farm in central Wisconsin since 1873.
