Thanks to investments in R&D, Monti&C collected significant results over the past year. "The results concerned the control of electric consumption, which is essential for our clients considering the current energy costs. In some cases, we managed to decrease consumption by over 30%," explain Christian Niccolai and Federico Papini.
More in detail, Monti&C offers storage units with new customized defrosting systems based on the product and type of use.
Another type is the germination and grafting unit, which boasts new heating and humidification systems and equipment to optimize the consumption of electricity and diminish extraordinary maintenance interventions.
Growing chambers for indoor and vertical farms featuring new internal dehumidification and ventilation systems are also popular, as they reduce electricity consumption by 30%. This is a fundamental aspect, especially for the feasibility of indoor growing.
