After spending 2022 consolidating its position on both a domestic level and on the foreign markets, GNA is ready to attend Fruit Logistica with some news.
"Over time, packaging material has changed, and the market is requesting them to be more sustainable. We, as manufacturers of packaging lines, need to adapt. We will attend the fair with our Chimera horizontal flowpacker and will focus on solutions made of various compostable materials alternative to plastic."
Manufactured with a high degree of protection, Chimera is suitable to package all kinds of solid products - both food and non-food - and it can be used in various sectors, including fresh-cut and fresh product ones.
"The packager can use compostable films and biodegradable plastic, but it can also be used with paper. A software manages the connections between the production line upstream and the packaging system downstream. With a 302 stainless steel and aluminum frame, Chimera is highly performing, flexible and reliable, plus it is modular and customizable. In addition, the brushless motors enable a perfect control of the packager."
The flow pack machine can be equipped with an automatic synchronizer, and it creates perfectly sealed packs with two transversal and one lower longitudinal seals to preserve the product. It has a speed of up to 80 cycles per minute (depending on the product), and functions are managed via PLC (Programmable Logic Controller). The multi-language Touch Screen panel facilitates preparation operations and memorizes the data.
In Berlin, the company will present a new vertical packaging machine. "But to know more about it, come to our stand for an exceptional experience."
