United Producers of Mexico (UPM), will be presenting the Forum on sustainability and social impact in the Mexican fruit sector together with business matchmaking with the exporters from Mexico, as part of their trade mission in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. It takes place on February 6, 2023 from 13:00 to 17:00 at the Chamber of Commerce, Blaak 40, Rotterdam.

UPM brings together importers and fruit exporters from Mexico to learn from each other what has already been done. Three national growers and exporters associations – avocado, mango and berries – are presenting their programs that have been implemented.

Express sea route
"If we thought that the pandemic logistics from Mexico to Europe were a headache, these post pandemic seasons have even been a larger challenge, discouraging Mexican fruit exporters to consider Europe an attractive market. So many exporters as well as importers have continually asked us about the Express Sea Route," says Lia Bijnsdorp, CEO of UPM.
At UPM, we have continued to work on setting up the Express Sea Route from Mexico to the Netherlands, with perseverance and dedication we are currently making good strides forward and are looking forward to start in 2023 with a regular route.
