The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Services, in its 31st annual report, stated that 99% of foods tested are below the pesticide residue limits.

The report covers food tested in 2021, with results announced at the end of last year, 2023, which states that samples tested by the EPA over 99% had residues below the tolerances, with 24% having no detectable residue.

The Pesticide Data Program (PDP) checked 10 127 samples in 2021, with 94% fresh and processed fruit and vegetables. Carrots, cauliflower, blueberries, broccoli, cantaloupe, celery, peaches, and watermelon were some of the produce tested.
