On 27, 28 and 29 November 2022, Interpom in Kortrijk will once again bring together the cream of the crop of the potato industry. Manter, Solidtec and Sarco Packaging will demonstrate various weighing and packaging machines and show unique packaging solutions.
Automating the packaging process saves time and money
During Interpom, all three companies will demonstrate their expertise in weighing, packaging and automation. The product specialists present are the bridge between technology and practice. Transferring knowledge and advice is most important. An additional advantage is that Sarco has the agency of both Manter and Solidtec for the BeNeLux. This gives the customer a single point of contact for realisation and maintenance.
Sarco Case Packer
Sarco highlights the possibilities of case packing. The Egatec BD-606 loader will be demonstrated on these days. This machine packs the product into box or crate by dropping it into the desired position, as it were. The empty boxes are automatically transported to the filling position under the cassette.
The cassette is then moved back and forth to create different patterns with the product in one or more layers. It is possible to deposit several products simultaneously, which ensures fast and precise placement of the products in box or crate.
Manter AutoPack
Manter presents the updated AutoPack HS (High Speed), a combination of a Bag Placer HS and a SemiPack+. Together it is a fully automatic packaging machine for packing larger quantities of potatoes and onions in jute, paper and net bags. The new generation excels in capacity, reliability and ease of operation. The AutoPack HS has achieved capacities of up to 20 bags of 25 kg per minute. At these speeds, Manter is unrivalled.
Solidtec Palletising
Last but not least, Solidtec shows off its palletising capabilities with the Dual Infeed Manipulator. The symmetrical construction allows the manipulator to be loaded, alternately, from both sides. This method saves the time the manipulator has to reverse from a 180-degree rotation.
Another big advantage is that this also reduces wear and maintenance interval. All in all, a great development that offers great advantages in terms of both capacity and lifespan.
