Exotic and tropical fruit as well as vegetables from across Latin America were on display and available for tasting. The country pavilions and company booths of Mexico, Ecuador, Argentina, The Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Colombia and Peru to name but a few, had lively interactions with many trade show visitors present over both days.

Avocados from many Mexican producers and exporters were on display and creatively presented for tasting by chefs. Latin American producers were present to meet existing clients while taking meetings with new and interested clients. Many described the show as very lively and busy with good meetings that were held for the in-demand produce. The US is the leading and most important export market for most Latin American countries, therefore a good effort was put forward in the stands as well as produce on display.

There were also a number of first time participants who were duly placed in the new exhibitor space for buyers to visit. These companies described the show as great with a lot of business leads to follow up.

The U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council held an information session on crop estimates for the current season together with country partners from Mexico, Canada, Peru, Chile and Argentina. They also presented key results from their Grab a Boost of Blue marketing campaign in stores across the US, which they hope to extend to other key blueberry consumption markets in the world.
