On January 1, 2002, QC One joined Normec Foodcare. This acquisition allows Normec Foodcare to offer more added value to companies throughout the (fresh produce) chain. Yesterday, on September 27, the next step was taken, and QC One officially became Normec QC One.
Normec QC One has user-friendly apps, distinctive overviews, and reliable product analyses for production companies, logistical players, and retailers. That makes Normec QC One a distinctive player in the fresh produce, fruit and vegetables, and agricultural worlds. GoodAcre and Maas Fruit Quality Inspections, both part of Normec Foodcare, use these apps for their digital inspections, and retailers, too, rely on Normec QC One's software solutions.
Added value for the whole chain
"Everything is aimed at enabling our customers to produce healthy, safe foods. Each stage of the chain affects this and has its own challenges. Taking over and changing QC One's name fits with Normec Foodcare's goal. We want to contribute even more to quality in the entire chain as a total provider and specialist. The combination of (digital) inspections and analyses forms an important part of that," says a Normec Foodcare representative.
Combining all forces
Normec Foodcare arose from a collaboration between leading laboratories, test centers, expertise and consultancy firms, and inspection and training organizations in the food sector. All with decades of experience. "Together, we form Normec Foodcare: a leader in the entire chain and knowledge partner in food safety, product quality, and flavor."
"By combining our expertise, we help with various issues and solutions in quality and food safety, laboratory research, taste testing, product testing, QA automation, flexible deployment of quality managers and inspectors, education & training, risk management, and label compliance," concludes the spokesperson.
