Agriplace and GLOBALG.A.P. present joint webinar for easing the Chain of Custody certification process

As the GLOBALG.A.P. Chain of Custody (CoC) certificate will become a market requirement for traders that sell products under the GLOBALG.A.P. label by January 2023, more and more companies are taking initiatives to comply in the most efficient way.

What is "Chain of Custody"?
The CoC certification ensures that products have been produced in accordance with GLOBALG.A.P.'s standards of food safety. It also allows businesses to trace the origins of their products so that they can be sure that they are sourced from certified farms and businesses. This traceability is important for ensuring food safety and quality, as well as meeting consumer demands for transparency.

Why is GLOBALG.A.P. CoC certification required?
GLOBALG.A.P. CoC certification is required for handling and segregating products from a GLOBALG.A.P. certified production process if continuing to sell with a GLOBALG.A.P. claim.
It is required for companies that label products with a GLOBALG.A.P. identification number (e.g., GGN, CoC Number) or participate in the GGN label initiative.

What are the benefits of GLOBALG.A.P. CoC certification?
Ensure proper sourcing and identification of products from a GLOBALG.A.P. certified production process.
Enhance supply chain transparency and product integrity, providing added value and customer reassurance. Protect products from a GLOBAG.A.P. certified production process from substitution or dilution with those from non-certified processes.

How to comply with CoC requirements effectively?
Understanding the demand for a supporting platform to help quality managers keep track of supplier certification status, Agriplace and GLOBALG.A.P. are joining forces to ease the CoC certification process via a series of webinars. By joining this interactive event, you can also gain relevant insight into how Agriplace Chain supports companies in obtaining this new certificate.
