In the 2021/22 campaign, Andalusian producers of green zucchini were paid the highest price in the last 7 years.

According to data provided by the Observatory of Prices and Markets of the Junta de Andalucía, processed by Hortoinfo, the average price for green zucchini stood at 0.78€/kg in the 2021/2022 campaign, i.e., 27.87% higher than the 0.61€/kg average of the last ten campaigns.

During the last ten marketing years, the highest average price was €0.85/kg, which was achieved in the 2014/2015 season, while the lowest price was €0.45/kg, which was reached in the 2013/2014 season.

In the 2020/21 campaign, the average price, which had been falling for 4 seasons, stood at 0.52€/kg.

This is the average price paid to producers for category I zucchini upon delivery to the warehouse or trading company, excluding VAT. This price concept does not include any type of costs attributable to the handling and marketing of the product nor any commercial commission.
