Qatari farms to intensify vegetable production for World Cup

A number of Qatari farmers have stated they are set to intensify efforts to increase the production of various vegetables to cater to the expected higher demand during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

The plan is to present the local market in November with new products such as shrimps, in addition to more quantities of honey, dates, mushrooms, and different types of green vegetables. Local agriculture production is at its peak during November.
