Carrick Farms signs €2 mln vegetable deal with Lidl Ireland

Lidl Ireland has announced a new €2 mln deal with family-owned Carrick Farms. The latter has signed up to distribute their fresh vegetables such as cucumbers, courgette, pumpkins, red cabbage and salads across the Lidl network of stores.

Carrick Farms was founded more than 100 years ago in Rush, Co Dublin. The business secured its first contract with Lidl Ireland in 2015, supplying lettuce to the retailer. Since then, the partnership has thrived. Employing more than 40 workers, Carrick Farms now farms over 120 acres of Irish produce a year.
