After the on-site field visit at Romagna Impianti, Fruit Net System and Agromillora planned a one-day event to demonstrate how mechanized harvesting is carried out in a specialized and super-intensive almond orchard. The appointment is set for Saturday, 27 August, from 8:30 a.m., at the Romagna Impianti headquarters (via Selice provincial 55/A, Imola, (Bologna)).

The event is scheduled in four phases. First of all, there will be a meeting at Romagna Impianti, where a bag with all the sponsors' logos, brochures, gadgets will be handed out. From here, there will be shuttles taking participants to the almond orchard. Attendees will then be divided into groups to follow the various stages.

Phase 1 will include a number of activities. The first will be a description of the plant by Romagna Impianti; the second to be held by Agromillora will include a varietal description; in the third, Fruit Net System will illustrate the economic management of the almond orchard; and in the fourth, iFarming will explain the benefits of sensor technology. It will then be Agrisol's turn to describe the part concerning irrigation, while Eurocompany will explain business opportunities.
The second phase will include a visit to the exhibition with sponsor booths.
The third phase is the harvest itself, during which groups will see the actual harvesting, and afterwards they will also be able to see the almond shelling process.
The fourth and final phase includes a return to the Romagna Impianti headquarters, lunch, and the sharing of opinions.
