'Fruit picking monkey' is a high-end, subscription-based gift-making platform specialized in fruit products. The platform recently completed a round of angel investments worth several million yuan. The main investors came from the food and beverage industries. 'Fruit picking monkey' has dozens of subsidiary brands, including iMei Max, Top Melon, and 16°.
The platform was established in 2019 and is specialized in subscription-based fruit gifts for high-end markets. The founder is Diao Rui. The platform works together with more than a hundred fruit plantations that each cover an area of at least 67 hectares. The platform provides selective fruits that are rare, unique, and delicious, such as Dandong strawberries, Turpan grapes, or Jinzuan pineapples from Hainan. The platform has an assortment of 80+ premium fruit varieties from high-end production areas.
The platform operates on a subscription model. Clients purchase a fixed-term subscription and then they receive a weekly fruit basket. There are monthly cards, seasonal cards, and annual cards. Take the annual card as an example. Clients pay 3,988 yuan [626 USD] per year and receive 52 boxes of seasonal fruits, one for every week of the year. The platform primarily caters to high-end companies.
