Cumulative volume of exported South African citrus at 11,889,038 cartons

According to a report by the Citrus Growers’ Association of South Africa, citrus exports to the rest of Africa (and surrounding islands) stood at 28,301 cartons in week 26, up 24% year -on-year.

In week 26, the cumulative number of citrus exported to all regions stood at 11,889,038 equivalent cartons. Most of this (1,235,388 units) went to Europe, with 437,144 cartons going to the US.
