On 29 November 2017, there was a ceremony for the first outing of the Chengdu Agricultural Produce China-Europe Express Railway. It was held at the International Railway Station in Qingbaijiang. European consumers can now taste local agricultural products from Chengdu very fast. It was also the first time that refrigerated transportation was used on railways that were established for the Belt and Road Initiative.

During the ceremony, several key figures tasted golden kiwis
For the Chengdu-Europe Express Rail to be successful, the Chengdu Tianfuyuan Brand Marketing Co., Ltd. has coordinated all their resources, and consulted with all the representatives involved, such as the Chengdu government, the Import and Export Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, the Chengdu-Europe Express Rail Transportation Center, Cinoong, Kangyuan Company, The Dutch Dong Cheng Group, and the French Le Di Ye Si Group, on how to export Chengdu kiwis to the European market effectively and fast. In one month, it had finalized an export plan and partnership programs.

Cinoong is the main exporter of fresh fruit in Chengdu. He Zong, CEO of Cinoong, attended the ceremony in person as an honored guest. During the ceremony, the deputy mayor Liu of Chengdu tasted the golden kiwis of Cinoong, and praised them highly.
"Before the ceremony, Cinoong had already exported its kiwis to several different countries, such as Singapore, Russia, Canada and the Netherlands. It had also maintained a stable trade relationship with importers and retail stores in the Netherlands and Singapore.

In the past, sea transportation was the main method for import and export. The major goods of managers worldwide are now exported along the guidelines of the Belt and Road Initiative, aided by socio-economic, integrated promotions and government support in the different countries. This not only makes up for the long time sea transportation takes, but also promotes friendly relationships between China and European countries.

The kiwis were grown following the Standardized 8S Healthy Production System.
The quality and safety were already inspected to comply with European Union import standards.
The three exported kiwi breeds with their different colors have a special advantage.
Kiwis are distributed at a port
This export not only represents the internationalisation of agricultural products from Chengdu, but also the internationalisation of the overall export between China and the West. It shows that all kinds of products can be imported and exported in the future. This is an important step for the relationship between China and the West.
