Envy well received on Spanish market
Enzafruit is known for their Jazz apple stand at the Fruit Logistica trade show. During Fruit Attraction everything revolves around the Envy apple. This apple is a cross between Braeburn and Royal Gala and is a bit sweeter, "The Envy apple is perfect for the Southern European market and we want to increase it's visibility there," says Greta Knapen from Enzafruit. "The Jazz apple has become a permanent fixture in Northern Europe. We hope the Envy apple can reach the same status in Southern Europe."

Well-received
They see a lot of potential in Spain, "This is the first time that we have a stand at this fair and the reactions we are receiving from visitors are very positive. The Envy apple is being handed out by our promotional workers and people are loving the sweetness of the apple." Greta says the Envy apple has other important characteristics as well; for example, the Envy apple does not brown after being cut open. In addition, this apple has a natural look and is characterized by its red color. This apple also has a longer shelf life, which convinces more people to buy it."
Envy's image is also different from the image of the Jazz apple, "The Jazz apple has a more sporty appeal and smooth appearance. While the Envy apple is more classic, more extravagant; one in which you really take your time eating. Because of this difference the Jazz apple is not a threat to the Envy apple. The two apples are intended for different markets."
