French logo to recognise origin revealed

Yesterday, Interfel presented the logo for French fresh fruit and vegetables. The logo has been initiated for European consumers to easily notice the French origin and it will be used from the 2nd of November.

“The logo is only used on fresh fruit and vegetables, so not on tin or frozen food. The promotion of the French origin shows all the commitments that the professionals have to implement on a daily basis. It is also a strong means to remind all the commitments of traceability in the sector. By taking this initiative the French professionals show the importance of promoting the origin in all countries (respecting the European regulations),” said Mélanie Milon of Interfel.

Bruno Dupont, Chairman of Interfel, had the honor of revealing the logo at a French conference, “Assises des fruits et legumes frais”.
