"It was a difficult season in Europe as prices were not profitable for producers. We did our best to serve our clients and are now looking towards the new 2015/16 season - despite the summer heat, the produce is of excellent quality and we are confident we will stand out on the market," explains Fabio Zanesco (below right), sales manager for VI.P.
"We have been attending Fruit Attraction since its second edition. The fair has grown a lot and is now an essential event for the European and Mediterranean fresh produce market. Also, October is ideal for us so we can meet clients and programme the new marketing campaign."
VI.P-Val Venosta will present its Spanish promotional campaign and assign the Golden Gold awards.
The stand covers 64 sq m and is located in hall 10, stand 10D03. In addition to general director Josef Wielander, representatives from the sales and marketing offices will also take part - Fabio Zanesco (sales manager and Spain area manager), Gerhard Eberhöfer (organic sales manager), Christiane Gfrei (Spain area manager), Michael Grasser (marketing manager), Josef Zöschg (North Africa and Middle East area manager) and Mathias Lang (North Africa and Middle East area manager).
"On day one of the fair, Val Venosta apples will be the main sponsor of the Jornada de consumo ecológico congress organised by FyH. The Golden Gold prizes will be awarded on day two. Last but not least, there will be a show cooking with Jordi Ferrer from Master Chef and nutritionist Elisa Escorihuela".
