Good EU onion harvest

The onion harvest in the EU is around 13% larger, with almost 5.8 million tonnes, reports the German Agrarmarkt Informations-Gesellschaft (AMI) on its website.

Whilst the harvest amounts during the onion harvest of 2013/14 were below average without exception in the northern hemisphere, they were back at a normal levelS in 2014/15, or even slightly higher in most countries.
