Cauliflower, kiwi and white grape price rise

According to Relaxnews, conference pear prices decreased last week by 14% to €1.69/kilo compared to €2.34/kilo last year. Potato prices have also decreased, by 16%, to €0.27.

Cauliflower prices have increased by 15% to €2.21 a piece. Kiwi prices are also higher at €0.42 a piece (+14%) as are white grapes which have increased by 12% to €2.78.

The Relaxnews price barometer is made every Wednesday using information from the Market News Service, under the Ministry of Agriculture. Every week 20 or so SNM employees record the retail prices of 150 products (fruit, vegetable, meat, fish…) in 150 medium and large supermarkets all over France (a representative sample of household consumption in France, conducted by Sofres).
