Thanks to its partners, the company can process and sell produce twelve months a year - in summer there is that from Fucino, in winter that from Apulia and in autumn and winter there is the local produce and
that from Basilicata and Calabria.
"Quality is good although rain in summer made transplants difficult. What's different this year, is the fact that we could export our produce to France and the Netherlands over the whole summer, as they had less local produce".
The main clients of the company are domestic wholesalers and markets, whereas 30% of the produce is shipped to Switzerland, France, Netherlands and Northern Europe. The objective for the near future is to increase exports.

Caligari & Babbi has a 600 sq m processing warehouse equipped with cold storage units in which fennel is packed according to the various needs of clients: Ifco (18-20 pieces, 6 kg) and wooden crates (12-14 pieces, 5 kg) go abroad, whereas black 8-10 piece crates are for the Italian markets. 500 and 750 gram flow-packs are mainly destined to Northern Europe and Denmark in particular.
