Egypt: Elshourk gains 45,000 ton capacity

Founded eight years ago as a subsidiary of the Elshark company in Egypt, Elshourk has blossomed into one of Egypt's leading exporters of fresh citrus. The Elshark company, which was established in 1980, began fruit exporting operations through Elshourk in 2004.

They now pack and distribute citrus, grapes and pomegranates throughout the world, and with a capacity of 45,000 tons a year, they're the third biggest exporter of citrus in Egypt.
