Supply of Spanish Navelina's doubled; quality improved

The supply of Spanish Navelina's on the German market has more than doubled in the past week and the quality has greatly improved. Before this, it was a little lacking. Now the size, ripeness, peelability and juice levels are all good.

Due to the cold weather conditions the demand grew, but it wasn't big enough to prevent a decrease in prices. The same happened to the Italian suppliers of Sicilian parties: there were not enough buyers.

The smaller kinds from overseas areas were meant for squeezing and were ideal for this. There was enough interest for this.
