More layer cultivation in a closed area with LED light is a promising development for uniform, quick and with high use of available space to grow plants and vegetables. How to utilise this technique in the most efficient way differs per situation. In order to come to a well thought out design Certhon and WPS Horti Systems have developed a climate container. With this placing the user can experiment himself to improve the growth and the quality of the plant. The knowledge obtained in this way can then be used to establish the best configuration for the required cultivation.
It is possible to place the testing container in a company, where all relevant factors for growing, such as temperature, humidity, CO2 dose, water supply and prescription of light for LED-lighting can be adjusted. The user himself can set and monitor the parameters. Certhon and WPS Horti Systems offer assistance when running these tests. The results of the tests could form the basis of a definite technical design of a multi-layer climate cell together with the business case.
