Huebert Farms and Pro Citrus to work together

Pro Citrus Network announces citrus packing partnership

Pro Citrus Network is proud to announce a citrus packing partnership with Huebert Farms of Reedley, California. PCN has packed fruit with Huebert Farms for the past three years but has grown their citrus program out of Central California to the point where they will be the majority citrus grower and handler at Huebert’s facility this year.

Huebert packing facility uses the latest packing technology to ensure that the citrus packed is of the highest quality. To make room for PCN’s expanding citrus program Huebert Farms added 27,000 square feet of cold storage as well as state of the art gas houses for the expanding lemon program. Huebert’s facilities, as well as their progressive food safety program will ensure that PCN’s customers continue to get the absolute highest quality fruit possible.

Jacquie Ediger, Vice President of Pro Citrus Network stated, “We are pleased that our increased position in the California citrus deal has allowed us to expand our relationship with Huebert Farms. They are quality packers who understand our customer’s needs and can meet our high expectations.”

Tim Huebert of Huebert Farms said, “We’ve had a long standing relationship with Pro Citrus Network and have been impressed with their strategic expansion of farms and their grower network in Central California. We look forward to packing PCN’s fruit as well as their partner grower’s fruit.”

Packing and shipping operations at Huebert Farms will begin in November, and will include navels, lemons and pummelos.
