Die Deutsche Bahn, the German railway, will hand out healthy snacks to children who travel long-distance in October and November. Deutsche Bahn, together with Berlin company Speaking Products, will brighten up young commuters by giving them organic vegetables in handy little bags with the 'Erdbär-Freche Freunde' label. Additionally, they will receive finger puppets in the shape of carrots, apples, pears and strawberries.
The snacks by Speaking Products are a combination of organic fruit and vegetables that can be eaten anytime and any place. The packages contain no sugar or artificial flavors. The aim is to stimulate young people to eat health food and to change their eating habits.
