Ahold USA enter into buying contract with Foodlink

Ahold USA have entered into a contract with Foodlink. This will take care of the online platform for buying fresh products: vegetables, fruit, potatoes, meat, fish, fruits of the sea and flowers to the value of 25 billion Dollars over the next ten years.

The platform connects more than 750 shops (Giant-Carlisle, GiantLandover, Martin's and Stop & Shop) and their suppliers in a network. The network enables the retail to buy at the correct prices and fights against loss of income by improving efficiency in the supply chain.

Foodlink promise a simplification of the control of the ordering process for the suppliers, to follow the shipments, to carry changes through and the collection of payments.
