Netherlands: Verbakel-Bomkas announces new company name: VB Group

Verbakel-Bomkas recently announced its new company name: VB Group. The change of name is a result of the ongoing growth of greenhouse projects in the international horticultural environment. VB Group, the company says, is launched as a reflection of the company's core culture and principal purpose to bring reliable and advanced greenhouse solutions to market.

"We focus more and more on our international activities. The ongoing growth in demand for greenhouse solutions outside the Netherlands requires a more international name and image of our company. The world is our playing field and we do not limit ourselves to what is close to us" says Edward Verbakel, group managing director of VB Group.

VB Group consists of three independent business units: VB Greenhouses, VB Climate and VB Projects.

VB Greenhouses is specialized in the engineering and building of complete greenhouse structures for horticultural and related industries.
VB Climate is specialized in the design, delivery and completion of a large variety of climate systems and installations for horticultural use in the Netherlands and many other countries.

VB Projects is active in the construction and civil engineering sector and designs and installs complete buildings and energy infra structures as a general contractor as well as sub-contractor.

Edward Verbakel says, "The synergy between our business units makes VB Group unique. The company structure provides an excellent foundation for future growth and allows us to further diversify our activities. Many of our company features remain the same. Not only our company logo but also the group of motivated VB employees are still here to serve our clients."

In the coming months the new company name will be communicated during several trade shows and events. The first event is the International Hortifair from October 30 – November 2 in RAI Amsterdam.
