Brazil: New markets for oranges

Producing quality oranges, reducing costs, increasing productivity and production flow are some of the objectives of the Citrus Prodcution Family program in the Northwest of Paulista. This program is developed by the Sebrae of Barretos, in nine municipalities in the region. Launched in October last year, the project includes 106 producers from Barretos, Bebedouro, Cajobi, Embaúba, Monte Azul Paulista, Olympia, Taiaçu and Taiúva. The citrus growers have the potential to provide 606,000 boxes of oranges in many different varieties.
