Spain: 11th Global GAP summit in Madrid
The quality and safety of fresh food forms one of the biggest challenges in agriculture worldwide. The ability of producers and distributors of fresh produce to show the quality of their food, as well as proof that their output is manufactured within acceptable margins of safety, is hugely important on today’s market.
Globally, there are a number of quality hallmarks that fall under the seal of Global GAP. Global GAP’s seal of approval is widely recognised in the industry, and is generally considered a solid guarantee that the products under its banner are of excellent quality.
To enforce and acknowledge Global GAP’s imprint, a summit will be held in Madrid later this year. The occasion, held 6-8 November, will mark the eleventh time that industry professionals can gather and meet with Global GAP officials.
The summit allows its guests to learn about Global GAP, how its hallmark can contribute to sales and why food safety issues are essential.
