Italian kiwi producers form consortium


The consortium consists of 9 of the main Italian companies in the industry - Spreafico, Naturitalia, Salvi-UNACOA, Granfrutta Zani, Frutta C2, Orogel Fresco, PempaCorer-Terremerse, Minguzzi, Consorzio Kiwigold - The Consortium represents more than 1 million tons of Hayward kiwifruit, representing over 20% of Italian production, but the intention of the founders is to grow further and faster, opening the door so that the best producers and exporters can meet the requirements.

In addition to promoting, protecting and enhancing the production and marketing of Italian kiwi at national, EU and worldwide levels, the Consortium will cover other important functions, such as the realization of innovative research and development, dissemination, information and training.
